Background

Mr. Andrew Shue, Co-Founded CMI Marketing, Inc., in July 1999 and serves as its Director. Mr. Shue Co-Founder along with his lifelong friend Michael Sanchez, TV Host Meredith Vieira, and a number of other leaders in marketing and media. Their vision was to create an organization that would celebrate and reward moms for all that they do every day. As a husband and father of three sons, Mr. Shue experience has shaped the long-term vision for CMI Marketing, Inc. He has ... spearheaded CMI Marketing's funding and business development since its inception. Under his direction key strategic partnerships have been formed with venture capitalists Highland Capital Partners and Draper Fisher Jurvetson. A community leader, Andrew is the chairman and co-founder, along with Michael, of the national non-profit youth leadership organization 'Do Something,' which works in 15,000 schools nationwide and has inspired and trained millions of young people to take action in their communities. During the last five years, he has helped to raise tens of millions of dollars for the organization, and built partnerships with such major companies as MTV, FOX, Blockbuster, and America Online. In addition, Mr. Shue co-founded and raised initial capital for International Sports Publishing Inc., which published game-day magazines for Major League Soccer. As an actor, Mr. Shue starred in FOX television's Melrose Place for six years and made his feature film debut in The Rainmaker directed by Francis Ford Coppola. Mr. Shue has played professional soccer in Zimbabwe, Africa, and Major League Soccer for the Los Angeles Galaxy. While playing soccer in Africa he also taught high school math. He is co-producer of an Imax film about soccer called The World's Game and he served as spokesman for the 1994 World Cup. Mr. Shue graduated from Dartmouth College in 1989 with a degree in history. In 1995 he received an honorary degree from Drew University and was named one of ten outstanding young Americans by the Junior Chamber of Commerce.
