Dr. James C. Li, PhD has been Chief Strategy Officer and Executive Vice President of Beyondsoft Corporation since 2012. Dr. Li serves as Chief Operating Officer of Asia at Achievo Corporation. Dr. Li served as President of Achievo Japan Business Group at Achievo Corporation. Dr. Li served as the Head of Achievo Japan Business Group since August 7, 2006. Previously, Dr. Li served as the Senior Vice President and Vice President of Business Integration of Achievo China ... of Achievo Corp. Dr. Li was responsible for the highly critical integration of businesses and operations acquired under Achievo's M&A activities. Before joining Achievo, Dr. Li served as the Senior Vice President of SinoCom Software Group, the largest independent software outsourcing company in Beijing, in charge of corporate strategy, operations, and North America and Europe business development. While at SinoCom, he successfully signed up large customer accounts with a number of multinational corporations. He also contributed to the SinoCom's successful IPO in the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2004. Previously, he served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of CoreCom Systems, a California-based software outsourcing company. In that capacity, he directed the development of the software consulting and outsourcing strategy, oversaw marketing and sales plans, and built business partnerships with major international corporations such as NEC and Computer Associates. Prior to that, he served senior engineering consulting and management positions at DigiSquare, Premier Tech, BellSouth and Accenture. Dr. Li possesses an extensive background in applied research of advanced computing earlier on during his academic years. He was associated with the Ohio State University as a Research Scientist and MIT as a visiting scientist. He has also contributed articles in a number of major academic publications in U.S. Dr. Li is an active personality within China's Software and IT industry including, in particular, the China Software Outsourcing Consortium. In 2001, he was invited by the Ministry of Information Industry to visit Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Chengdu and Suzhou to give advice and consultation to top government officials regarding the country's software outsourcing industry. He is a regular guest speaker in varies China outsourcing conferences and summit meetings. Dr. Li serves as Vice Chairman of the Beijing Software Outsourcing consortium. Dr. Li received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. He earned his MBA from California State University, and his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Beijing Jiaotong University.
