Background

Dr. Vincent Pluvinage served as President and Chief Executive Officer of IPVALUE Management Inc. and guided all aspects of its business direction and strategy. Dr. Pluvinage has more than 18 years of experience in technology business, R&D operations and intellectual property management. Prior to IPVALUE, Dr. Pluvinage served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Preview Systems Inc. Dr. Pluvinage built Preview Systems from its pre-financing stage to a public corporation ... listed on the NASDAQ exchange. In 1987, Dr. Pluvinage spun out the advanced digital processing technology he had developed at Bell Labs as ReSound Corp. for use in medical applications. Prior to joining Preview Software, he led the research and development, international operations, business development and strategic marketing efforts for ReSound Corporation, where he held a variety of senior management positions from March 1987 to May 1997. From June 1985 to March 1987, Dr. Pluvinage served as a Member of the Technical Staff at AT&T Bell Labs. He participated in the spin-off of technologies from AT&T Bell Labs to ReSound. He led ReSound's R&D team to develop new technologies, and later expanded his role to president of international operations, leading its entre into the European and Asia markets. His career started at AT&T Bell Laboratories where he conducted research on a range of digital signal processing technologies. Dr. Pluvinage served as a Director of Sound ID Inc. He serves as a Director of Preview Systems Inc. He serves on the Board of Directors of several private companies. He served as a Director of IPVALUE Management Inc. He is a Member of the Barbary Coast Chapter of the Young President Organization. He received Bell Labs' prestigious "Exceptional Contribution Award" for his work on technology that formed the basis for ReSound. Dr. Pluvinage completed the Advanced Executive Management program at Stanford University and holds a Ph.D. degree in Bioengineering from the University of Michigan and an M.S. degree, summa cum laude in Applied Physics Engineering from the Universite Catholique de Louvain in Belgium.
