Mr. Stephen T. Halverson, Steve, DBIA serves as President of The Haskell Company and has been its Chief Executive Officer since 1999. He was in private law practice and also worked for the American Bar Association in Washington, DC, where he specialized in issues relating to procurement reform. His experience spans over 20 years in managing and leading large-scale design and construction ... enterprises throughout the U.S. Prior to entering the construction industry, he practiced law and helped draft the Model Procurement Code for state and local governments, which was subsequently enacted by over 40 states and municipalities. He serves as Chairman of Jacksonville of Teach For America, Inc. He serves as Vice Chairman of Regis University. He serves as the Chairman of Lowell Whiteman School. Mr. Halverson served as the Chairman of Design Build Institute of America (DBIA). He has been a Director of CSX Corp. since September 1, 2006 and CSX Transportation Inc. since September 1, 2006. He has been a Director of Physician Sales & Service, Inc. since December 2008. He has spoken internationally on construction and environmental issues. He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from St. John's University and a Juris Doctorate from American University.
