Dr. Howard E. Levine, Ph.D. serves as Head of Manufacturing Biologics of Acretia, Inc. Dr. Levine served as the Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President of Triton BioSystems, Inc. He has over 25 years of experience in process development, manufacturing and operations in the biopharmaceutical industry. He previously held positions of increasing responsibility ... in process development and manufacturing at Genentech, Inc., Amgen, Inc., and XOMA Corporation. Dr. Levine is experienced in development and commercialization of biological compounds (including recombinant proteins and monoclonal antibodies). He served as a Vice President of Manufacturing Operations for Repligen Corporation and Director of Pilot Plant Operations at Xoma Corporation. He served as the Chairman of the Parenteral Drug Association's (PDA) Task Force on Chromatography Validation; has lectured extensively on manufacturing strategy, downstream processing, and manufacturing in biotechnology; and is co-editor of a directory of biologics contract manufacturers. He has been a Member of Scientific Advisory Board at Viropro Inc., since May 2011. Dr. Levine serves as Member of Scientific Advisory Board of Bioaxone Therapeutic, Inc. He has been a Director at Protein Sciences Corporation since April 28, 2009. He serves as a Member of the Editorial Advisory Boards of BioPharm Magazine, BioProcess International and Bio/Pharmaceutical Outsourcing Report.
