As the Chief Technical Officer of Delrina, Mr. Amato was responsible for all product research and development activities, and also held positions of a Director and Executive Vice President. After Delrina was sold to Symantec Corporation in November 1995, he served as a Vice President with Symantec for one year. Prior to his work with Delrina, Mr. Amato held a technical development position at the IBM Canada Research Laboratory and was a Co-Founder and Executive Officer at Schematix Computer Systems Inc. He serves as a Director of Farelogix Inc. Mr. Amato graduated from the University of Toronto in Industrial Engineering.
