In June 2006, the National Law Journal named him one of the nation's 100 most influential lawyers. On Oct. 11, 2006, the American Civil Liberties Union of Delaware awarded Mr. Mobley the Gerald Kandler Award for outstanding leadership in the cause of civil liberties in Delaware. On October 23, 2006, Mr. Mobley received the Association of Corporate Counsel Award for Excellence in Corporate Practice. In June 2007, he received an Appleseed award for commitment for promoting pro bono and diversity in the workplace. He was the 1998 Statewide Campaign Chair for the Delaware United Way and led the effort to raise an all-time high of $27 million to support much-needed health and community services. He served as a Member of the boards of directors of the National Building Museum and the Arena Stage in Washington, D.C. He received the LexisNexis Corporate Legal Times Distinguished Legal Service Award and the Howard University Alumni Award for Distinguished Postgraduate Achievement in the field of law in 2002. Mr. Mobley received his bachelor of science degree in 1968 from the Howard University School of Pharmacy and received his J.D. degree from Howard University School of Law in 1971.
