Mr. Craig Edward Ehrlich serves as a Private Investor. Mr. Ehrlich served as Managing Director of Hutchison Cablevision since October 1987 and was a Founding Member of the team that launched STAR TV. He has been an Independent Director of Atok-Big Wedge Co. Inc. since April 20th 2012. He joined Hutchison Whampoa in 2003 as a Board Member of Hutchison Mobile Communications and advises the group’s 3G and 2G businesses worldwide. After four years with Hutchison Whampoa, Mr. Ehrlich became the group operations Director at Hutchison Telecommunications and was responsible for the company's operations in 10 countries. In 1993, he left the Hutchison group and established companies which were involved in the introduction of cable television and paging services. He sold these companies in September 1996 and was recruited as group Managing Director of Sunday Communications Ltd. which he launched in November 1996 and served in that position until 2003. Mr. Ehrlich has been involved in Hong Kong's communications industry since he first settled in Hong Kong in 1987. Prior to joining Hutchison Cablevision, he spent eight years in senior positions at one of America's largest cable television operators. He joined Hutchison Whampoa in 2003. Mr. Ehrlich is the Chairman of Carmel Ventures Asia. He is an independent Non-Executive Director of Bharti Airtel which he joined in April 2009. He served as Chairman of the Board of GSM Association and serves as its Director. He has been the Vice Chairman of Ism Communications Corp. since May 31, 2006 and Independent Director since July 2003. He has been an Independent Director of Philweb Corp. since May 2002. He has also become Chairman of Eastern Multimedia. He has been a Director of ECI Telecom Ltd. since February 2005 and Co-Chairman of Novare Technologies Ltd. In Hong Kong, Mr. Ehrlich is a Board Member of Hutchison Mobile Communications and advises the worldwide operations of its 3G and 2G businesses. He also sits on the Boards of companies in California, Hong Kong, China, Israel and Philippines. Mr. Ehrlich serves as a Member of Business Advisory Board of PGP Corporation and is a Member of the Industry Advisory Board of Carmel Ventures. In the Philippines, the investor group of which Craig is Vice Chairman, won a 3GSM license and owns Eastern Telecoms. He served as a Director of Roamware Inc. and GSM Association. Mr. Ehrlich is a recognized leader in the telecommunications and cable TV industry in Asia. He served as Non-executive Director of SUNDAY Communications Ltd. until May 22, 2003. Mr. Ehrlich holds a B.A. degree in Political Science from the University of California Los Angeles, an Masters degree in urban studies from Occidental College and a postgraduate fellowship with the Coro Foundation.
