Mr. Kenneth A. Buckfire, Ken is the Co-Founder of Miller Buckfire & Co. LLC and serves as its Chief Executive Officer, Co-President and Managing Director. Mr. Buckfire served as Managing Director of Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein and served as its Co-Head of Financial Restructuring group, where he specialized in the restructuring and refinancing of highly leveraged companies. Mr. Buckfire served as Senior Vice President of Lehman Brothers Inc. Over the course of his ... career, he advised clients in a broad range of industries (including energy, food products, building products, broadcasting, and information services) and has also managed principal investments in distressed companies and in the utility industry. He advised ICO Global Communications in its May 2000 reorganization based on a $1.2 billion equity financing led by Craig McCaw. In 1998, Mr. Buckfire advised 19 independent power producers in the 1998 restructuring of their $11 billion in power contracts with Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation (named “Energy Deal of 1998“ by Investment Dealers Digest). He played a leading role in the restructurings of Level (3) Communications, ICG Communications, PSINet, Inc., Sirius Satellite Radio, BTI Telecom, CMS Energy, CenterPoint Energy, Mirant Corporation (Creditors' Committee), Horizon Natural Resources, Oakwood Homes, TECO Energy, Centennial Communications, Allegheny International, Van Camp Seafood, Walter Industries, Burnham Broadcasting, EUA Power Corporation, Dialog Corporation, Imperial Sugar, CRIIMI MAE, and Cajun Electric. He has been a Director of NeuroPhage Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since May 2013. He serves as a Director of Philharmonic-Symphony Society of New York, Inc.
