Ms. Judy L. Harris has been the Chief Executive Officer of Carson-Dellosa Publishing, LLC since October 2010. She served as Chief Executive Officer of School Specialty Publishing, Inc. since October 2010. She served as Chief Executive Officer of Primedia's Educational Media segment that includes Channel One Networks and Films Media ... Group. She served as Chief Executive Officer and President of Channel One Communications Corporation since March 2005. She served as Senior Vice President of Primedia Inc. since November 2005. From March 2001 to March 2005, Ms. Harris served as the Executive Vice President, Business & Development for the Public Broadcasting System (PBS). From November 1999 to February 2001, she served as Senior Vice President, General Manager, Consumer & Educational Products for Discovery Communications, Inc. Prior to her work with Discovery Communications from 1985 to 1999, she served with Binney & Smith (Crayola), a division of Hallmark, Inc., where she served as Vice President of Corporate Development. She was responsible for extending the Crayola brand and created and developed educational resources for parents and children. Ms. Harris serves on the Board of Directors of Do Something. She serves as a Member of the National Advisory Council of Ready to Learn Partnership. She shapes and influences journalistic excellence through her affiliations with the Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing; the National Cable & Telecommunications Association; Women in Cable Television; and Women in Film and Video. She is recognized with nmerous awards for innovation in the education, consumer and media arena. Ms. Harris received a B.S. from Drexel University in Philadelphia.
