Background

Mr. William T. Keevan, Bill served as the Senior Managing Director of Kroll Associates Inc. since February 5, 2007. Mr. Keevan has extensive experience dealing with regulatory matters including SEC compliance and reporting and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, and has helped clients respond to government audit reports, inquiries and other actions including alleged violations of the False Claims Act, Truth in Negotiations Act and FCPA. He has more than 40 years of financial statement ... auditing, consulting, internal investigation, litigation support, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance experience. In December 2006, he joined Kroll Inc., where he served as a Senior Managing Director and the U.S. leader of its Complex Accounting, Disputes and Regulatory Compliance Services practice. In September 2010, subsequent to the sale of Kroll Inc. by Marsh and McLennan, he became an Independent Consultant and Senior Adviser to Chess Consulting LLC, the successor to the practice he led at Kroll. Early in his career, Mr. Keevan spent five years in private industry in various financial management positions involving Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) reporting, financial analysis, cost accounting, and merger and acquisition due diligence. He has been recognized in multiple forums as an expert witness on financial accounting, cost accounting, auditing, and regulatory compliance matters. He served as Head of Forensic Accounting and Litigation Consulting practice - United States of InfoLink Screening Services Inc. since December 2007. He also helps companies and their legal counsel quantify damages, evaluate settlement alternatives and prepare for negotiation, arbitration and trial. Mr. Keevan served as the Head of Forensic Accounting and Litigation Consulting practice - United States of Kroll, Inc. since December 2007. Mr. Keevan served as the Senior Managing Director of Navigant Consulting, Inc. from June 2002 to December 2006. He was a member of Navigant Consulting's Dispute, Investigative, and Regulatory Advisory Services Management Committee and leader of its Government Contractor Services Group. His clients included companies in a variety of industries many of which do substantial business with the U.S. and foreign governments. His practice entails advising clientson complex accounting, financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and governance matters. From September 1982 to June 2002, Mr. Keevan was a Partner of Arthur Andersen LLP where he held a number of senior management positions. He has been an Independent Director of DeVry Inc. since November 2005. He serves as a Trustee of Center for Strategic and International Studies, Inc. He served as a Director of SRA International Inc. from February 2008 to July 2011. He is also a Board Leadership Fellow of the National Association of Corporate Directors and a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA). Mr. Keevan is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (the “AICPA”), Illinois Society of Certified Public Accountants, Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants, Greater Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants, Institute of Management Accountants, the American Accounting Association, and the National Contract Management Association, of which he is a member of the National Board of Advisors. He earned an undergraduate degree in accounting from University of Akron in 1968.
