Dr. William T. Mason, Bill, PhD served as Head of Laboratory at Babraham Institute for 18 years until 1997. Dr. Mason was the Founder of Life Science Resources Ltd. and served as its Managing Director and Deputy Chairman. Dr. Mason founded of Communications Resources Ltd. He led an academic program of medical research focused on the use of cell and molecular biology, medical imaging, and high throughput screening. Dr. Mason is an entrepreneur with a strong scientific ... background in healthcare and life sciences. For 20 years, he led a public and industry-funded program of neuroscience-focused medical research using cellular and molecular genetics, advanced computing and engineering technology for the visualization of chemical events in biological cells and high throughput drug discovery. Dr. Mason founded three successful high technology companies. He has a broad range of experience in early stage high technology companies, particularly in the biomedical and biotechnology industries. Dr. Mason has experience of over 40 commercial transactions over the last ten years, ranging from funding through to mergers and acquisitions activity and divestment.
