Mr. James C. Day, Jim served as a Vice President and Assistant Secretary of Noble Energy, Inc., (formerly, Noble Affiliates Inc.). Mr. Day has distinguished and successful career in the oil and gas industry with thirty years of experience. Mr. Day served as the Chairman of the Board of Noble Corp., (formerly, Noble Drilling Corp.), a subsidiary of Noble Energy, Inc. from October 22, 1992 to April 30, 2007, Chief Executive Officer from January 1, 1984 to October 30, 2006 ... and President from March 1, 2005 to February 10, 2006. From January 1983 to March 1, 2005, he served as Vice President of Noble Corp. He has held numerous leadership positions with various industry and civic associations throughout his career. Mr. Day has been an Independent Director of ONEOK Inc., since February 19, 2004. He has been a Director of EOG Resources Inc., since July 2008 and Tidewater Inc., since September 2007. He serves as a Director of American Petroleum Institute Inc. He served as a Director of Global Industries Ltd. from February 1993 to May 16, 2006 and Noble Corp. from 1983 to April 30, 2007. He served as a Director of Noble Energy Inc. from 1994 to 2000 and again from September 2001 to April 27, 2004. He was active in many energy industry and professional organizations, including the International Association of Drilling Contractors and National Ocean Industries Association. Mr. Day was a Member of Society of Petroleum Engineers, American Bureau of Shipping since 2007 and Independent Petroleum Association of America. In 2002 and 2003, he was honored by Institutional Investor magazine as the top-performing Chief Executive in the oil service and equipment sector. On April 26, 2007, he was awarded an Honorary Degree of Doctor in Humane Letters from the University of Oklahoma. Mr. Day received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Phillips University.
