Ms. Chaomei Chen has been Chief Risk Officer of LendingClub Corporation since June 01, 2011. During her career, she has overseen the business and credit risk within portfolios totaling more than $20 billion and has given direction to more than 2,500 staff members including Credit Risk Management, Business Risk Management, Collections, and Fraud Prevention. She has been Vice Chairman - Credit and Collections at Washington Mutual Card Services since August 2002. She holds BS in mathematics from Southwestern Jiaotong University and MSE in mathematical science from Johns Hopkins University.
