Background

Mr. John C. Carter founded Technology Capital Generation in 2002 and serves as its Principal. Mr. Carter served as Chief Technology Officer of Klipsch Group Inc. from February 2005 to October 2007 and for its two subsidiary companies, Klipsch Audio Technologies and Jamo International. Before joining Klipsch in 2005, Mr. Carter served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Technical Officer at Aurora Worldwide, Inc. from April 2004 to February 2005. From November 2007 to ... January 2008, he was an Executive in Residence at Vantage Point Venture Partners in San Bruno, California, where he assisted in the management of several portfolio companies. He was the Founder and served as Principal of Boston-based Product Development Consulting, Inc. As Chief Executive Officer, he led several technology firms towards funding and acquisition holding positions, including NetLens (Acquired by NextPage) and Chelix. Before starting PDC, Mr. Carter served as Chief Engineer of Bose Corporation, where he managed the development of technologies such as the "Acoustic Wave Music System", "Wave Radio", "Lifestyle Home Theatre", and "Noise Reduction Headphone". He serves as a Director and a Member of Advisory Board of Tymphany Corporation. He has been a Director of Cirrus Logic Inc. since 2009. Mr. Carter earned his MS in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BS in Engineering from Harvey Mudd College in Claremont, CA.
