Mr. John A. Bohn, J.D., serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Renewable Energy Trust Capital, LLC. Mr. Bohn co-founded Renewable Energy Trust in 2011 and serves as its Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Bohn is a Principal and Chairman of Global Net Partners, N.A., LLC and he was its Managing Partner. Mr. Bohn serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of GlobalNet Venture Partners LLC. Mr. Bohn was a Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of CheMatch.com (now Chemconnect). ... From 1989 to 1996, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Moody's Investors Service, Inc. He served as Managing Director of Burson-Marsteller, LLC for one and a half years, focusing on international markets, and economic resources issues, and was special advisor to the Government of Korea during the Asian financial crisis. He began his career practicing law in California and the Pacific, spent 13 years as an international banker with Wells Fargo, which included 4 and a half years in Tokyo, with responsibility for its Asian activities. He served as Division Manager for Trade Finance, private banking, and multinational banking. He served as Chairman and President of Export Import Bank of the United States until 1989. In 1984, he was appointed to the post of Vice Chairman of the Export Import Bank of the United States, and later as chairman and Chief Executive Officer. In 1981, Mr. Bohn joined the Reagan Administration as where he served first as Special Assistant to Treasury Secretary and as U.S. Ambassador and Executive Director of the Asian Development Bank. He served as Chairman of CorVu Corporation from September 2002 to July 31, 2003. He serves as Director of Electric Power Research Institute, Inc. He serves as a Director of Southwest Water Company, Inc. He serves as Director of the National Endowment for Democracy in Washington, D.C. and to the Advisory Board of the Yale Institute for Corporate Governance and Performance. He served as a Director of California Clean Energy Fund. He serves as Trustee of Northern Trust Multi-Advisor Fund and is a member of the Capital Markets Reform Commission, chartered by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce to re-evaluate the operation of U.S. capital markets in light of globalization. He is also a member of The Council on Foreign Relations in New York, and a director of the World Affairs Council in San Francisco. He served as Chairman of the Center for International Private Enterprise and as a member of the Executive Committee of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Washington, D.C. He served as Commissioner at California Public Utilities Commission, appointed in May 2005 for a six year term, until 2011. While on the Commission, he focused heavily on water and renewable energy issues, climate change, and small business, as well as developments in technology and energy efficiency. He is a member of the California State Bar and the Bar of the Supreme Court of the United States. He received his J.D. from Harvard Law School, attended the London School of Economics as a Fulbright scholar and graduated, with honors, from Stanford University.
