Dr. Rengarajan Ramesh, Ph.D is a Technical Advisor of RWL Water Group. Dr. Ramesh supports RWL Water Group’s efforts to evaluate the best water treatment technologies and companies around the world. Dr. Ramesh serves as Managing Director at Wasserstein & Co., LP. He has consulted for W&Co. on water investments since 2009, where he formally joined in 2010. Dr. Ramesh has 30 years of global operating, acquisition, and technology experience. From 2003 to 2009, he served ... several senior management roles at GE Water & Process Technologies, including four years as the Chief Technology Officer. During this tenure, Dr. Ramesh played a key role in the development and implementation of the strategy that led to the creation of GE’s $2.5 billion global water platform, managing engineering and technology organizations of over 700 engineers and scientists while leading the technical and operational due diligence and integration efforts of GE Water’s major acquisitions. He served as Vice President of Technology at A. Schulman, Inc. from April 2000 to October 31, 2003 and served as its General Manager of Asian Operations from 1995 to October 31, 2003. Prior to GE, Dr. Ramesh served numerous management roles, including Chief Technology Officer, General Manager of Asia and General Manager of Mexico and South America, over a two-decade career with A. Schulman Inc. Dr. Ramesh serves as a Director of RWL Water Group and Imagine H2O. He currently serves as a director of High Pressure Equipment Company. Dr. Ramesh served as a Member of the International Advisory Board to the Ministry of Environment and Water for the Government of Singapore from 2006 to 2009. He also served on the Executive Board of the National Center for Food Protection and Defense (a Homeland Security center at the University of Minnesota). He has M.S. and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Akron.
