Mr. James H. Blanchard, Jimmy, serves as the Chairman of Jordan-Blanchard Capital, LLC. Mr. Blanchard partnered with The Jordan Company to create Jordan-Blanchard in August of 2011. Prior to creating Jordan-Blanchard, he served as the Chief Executive Officer at Synovus Financial Corp. from 1971 to 2005 and also served as its President. Mr. Blanchard served as the Chairman of the Board at Synovus Financial Corp. since July 20, 2005 until his retirement in October 2006 ... and served as a Director from 1972 to April 26, 2012. Mr. Blanchard served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Coastal Bank and Trust of Florida. He served as Treasurer of W.C. Bradley Co. Inc. Mr. Blanchard has been a Director of Total System Services Inc., since 1982 and served its Chairman from 1982 to 1992. He serves on the Board of W.C. Bradley Co. In 2006, he formed a partnership with Columbus State University's Cunningham Center for Leadership Development to create the Jim Blanchard Leadership Forum. Mr. Blanchard rallied support for the passing the Georgia Legislature of the multi-bank holding company bill in 1976 and under his leadership, CB&T Bancshares became the first bank holding company in Georgia to acquire other banks under the new law. Mr. Blanchard served as the Chairman-Elect of Financial Services Roundtable and Honorary Chairman of Financial Services Roundtable Scholarship Foundation from 2008 to 2009. For his contributions, he was the first executive outside the greater Atlanta area chosen as Georgia Trend magazine's Most Respected Chief Executive Officer in the state for 1997. Georgia Trend magazine also honored Mr. Blanchard as the Georgian of the Year for 2003 and United States Banker magazine named him as one of the 25 Most Influential People in Financial Services for 2005. He holds FinTech Lifetime Achievement Award, Technology Association of Georgia in 2010 and Divine Servant Leadership Award, Lead Like Jesus, 2012. He earned a LLB from The University of Georgia in 1965 and a B.B.A. in Business Administration from The University of Georgia in 1963. He holds a B.A. and an M.B.A. from Michigan State University, and a J.D. from the University of Minnesota.
