Dr. Holden S. MacRae, Ph.D., serves as a Professor of Sports Medicine for Pepperdine University. He is focused on the determination of optimal training thresholds in sub-elite and elite cyclists and runners. Dr. MacRae studies the metabolic, cardiovascular, and muscular variables that contribute to optimal exercise performance during high-intensity exercise.
