Background

Rita Mitjans serves as Division Vice President of Carrier Relations & Business Development of ADP TotalSource Group, Inc. Ms. Mitjans has a diverse background in investor relations, marketing and sales, both in the United States and internationally. She oversees the health and welfare benefits program for TotalSource, including strategy, vendor selection and negotiation, renewals and product development functions and works closely with the sales, operations and benefits ... carriers to achieve TotalSource's profitability and market objectives of becoming the premier PEO in the industry. In her Business Development role, Ms. Mitjans is responsible for leading a major new business initiative that expand ADP’s market opportunity in the area of HR outsourcing to small and mid sized businesses. Prior to this role, Ms. Mitjans led the divisions' strategic planning and marketing function. Before joining ADP TotalSource, she spent 10 years in a variety of positions at Bankers Trust Company and Deutsche Bank AG after it acquired Bankers Trust in 1999. She served as director of new business development, and was responsible for the development and execution of business plans, valuation analysis and due diligence reviews. Ms. Mitjans spent two years as a principal in investor relations and previously held positions in sales and marketing for the bank's escrow and tax insurance trust businesses. Before joining Bankers Trust, she was a district sales manager with Hopper Paper Company, a division of Georgia-Pacific Corporation in Darien, Conn. She serves as Member of the Advisory Board of Catalyst, Inc. Ms. Mitjans holds a master's degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration and a Bachelor's degree, summa cum laude, from St. John's University.
