Mr. Stanley T. Sigman, Stan serves as the Chief Executive Officer and President of New Cingular Wireless PCS, LLC. Mr. Sigman served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Cingular Wireless Corporation, a subsidiary of AT&T Inc., and BellSouth Corp. (AT&T Southeast) since November 2002. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of AT&T Mobility LLC of AT&T, Inc. from November 2002 to October 2007 and served as its President since November 2002 and responsible ... for all its aspects of wireless operations, including sales, marketing, operations and network. He held high level managerial positions with SBC or its subsidiaries. From April 2001 to November 2002, he served as Group President and Chief Operating Officer of AT&T Inc. (Formerly SBC Communications Inc.), where he was responsible for its wireline operations at SBC Ameritech, SBC Pacific Bell/SBC Nevada Bell and SBC Southwestern Bell, as well as wholesale operations at SBC Advanced Solutions Inc., SBC DataComm, SBC Internet Services and SBC Services. Mr. Sigman's expansive career includes leading virtually all the key business units of SBC, including Long Distance, Messaging, Global Accounts, Sterling Commerce, DataComm, Web hosting, eCommerce, TRI, Network Planning and Engineering, Network Operations, Business and Consumer Marketing and Operator Services. Mr. Sigman began his career with Southwestern Bell Telephone as a stockman in Hereford, Texas, in 1965 and held a number of management assignments in Texas, Oklahoma and Missouri. He served as an Executive Vice President of Southwestern Bell Mobile Systems since 1986. In 1991, Mr. Sigman was appointed managing director-Cellular and Paging for SBC Communications' Teléfonos de México (Telmex) operations, based in Mexico City. Prior to that, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. He served as group President of SBC National Operations since 1999, where he was responsible for all of SBC's domestic wireless operations: Cellular One (Illinois, Maryland, Washington, D.C., Massachusetts, New York, Rhode Island, Indiana, Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, New Hampshire, Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands); Pacific Bell Wireless (California); Nevada Bell Wireless (Nevada); Southwestern Bell Wireless (Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas); SNET Wireless (Connecticut); and Ameritech Cellular (Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Wisconsin, Kentucky and Hawaii). In addition, he was responsible for SBC's wireline brand offering - SBC Telecom - to operate in 30 markets outside SBC's traditional 13-state wireline territory. Mr. Sigman also oversaw SNET's wireline operations in Connecticut. He served as vice President and General Manager for the Oklahoma market area at Southwestern Bell Telephone since 1993. Mr. Sigman served as an Executive Vice President of Southwestern Bell Mobile Systems since 1994 and was responsible for operation of the in-territory cellular markets, international ventures and product-line development. He served as Chief Executive Officer and president of Southwestern Bell Mobile Systems since 1995. Mr. Sigman is regarded as a wireless industry visionary and champion for wireless safety and technology advances. He served as President of Pacific Bell Wireless, LLC. Mr. Sigman was appointed to the President's National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee (NSTAC) in September 2004. He serves as Chairman Emeritus of the board of directors of the Cellular Telecommunications and Internet Association (CTIA). He serves as Trustee of Georgia Research Alliance, Inc. He is a Member of Atlanta Alexis de Tocqueville Society in recognition for his service and commitment to the United Way. Mr. Sigman earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from West Texas State University in Canyon, Texas, in 1970.
