Prior to joining Tyco, she served as Vice President at Eaton Corporation from August 2002 to March 2008 where she held several positions in operations, continuous improvement and general management. Prior to joining Tyco, she served as General Manager of Clutch Division of Truck Group at Eaton Corporation plc and executive roles in the automotive industry for Ford Motor Company, Chrysler, and Mogami Denki. She spent six years at Eaton Corporation, the diversified power management company, in a number of international management roles which included nearly four years based in Shanghai. As an operator, Ms. Connors has implemented Continuous Improvement processes (utilizing both Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma tools) and has trained and worked abroad, including full-time positions in Japan, Germany and China. She served as Chief Executive Officer of Allied Holdings US, Inc. since April 2008 and served as its President. She served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Tyco International, Electrical & Metal Products division (renamed Atkore International, Inc.) from December 2010 to June 2011. She served as President of this Tyco division at Atkore, formerly the Electrical and Metal Products division of Tyco International, became privately held since April 2008. She was employed in a number of executive and management capacities in the automotive industry. She spent much of her early career in the automotive industry working for Ford, Chrysler and Mogami Denki, a Toyota supplier. During this period, Ms. Connors undertook roles in plant management, engineering, quality, customer service and strategic planning and worked in the U.S., Europe and Asia Pacific. She served as Professional at Ford Of Europe GmbH. She served as Manufacturing Engineer Supervisor of Toyota Motor Corporation. Her operating skills have been further advanced by having led more than a dozen acquisitions during her career. She has been a Director of Echo Global Logistics, Inc. since April 12, 2013. She has been a Non-Executive Director of Vesuvius plc since March 1, 2013. She has been an Independent Director of Boston Scientific Corporation since December 15, 2009 and Blount International Inc. since March 26, 2012.
