Mr. Jorge H. Delgado serves as an investor and consultant to companies in the media and hispanic consumer product industries. Mr. Delgado served as a General Manager of Austin Univision & Telefutura of Univision Communications Inc. until 2007. He served for 15 years in positions of increasing responsibility at Univision, the leading Spanish-language media company in the United States which owns and operates 62 television stations in major U.S. hispanic markets and Puerto ... Rico. He served as General Manager of television stations in Albuquerque, Sacramento, and finally, the flagship stations in Los Angeles. He served as President and General Manager of the Los Angeles stations (KMEX and KFTR) for six years, where he oversaw more than 175 employees, 30 sales professionals, and revenues of 200 million dollars. Under his leadership KMEX, had the highest rated newscasts in Los Angeles and an outstanding commitment to community service. He serves as a Member of the Board of Advisors at Progress Financial Corporation. He serves on the boards of The March of Dimes and of Heal the Bay. He serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of Pitzer College. Mr. Delgado holds a BS from Florida Institute of Technology, an M.S from M.I.T. and also an MBA degree from the Stanford University.
