Mr. Robert D. (Bob) Blackwell, Sr. is a Founding Partner of Blackwell Global Consulting LLC (Alternate Name Blackwell Consulting Services, Inc) in 1992 and served as its Co-Chief Executive Officer since September 2008. Mr. Blackwell served as the President of Blackwell Consulting Services, Inc. and served as its Chief Executive Officer until September 2008. Mr. Blackwell's computer industry expertise spans more than 35 years. He worked for more than 25 years with International ... Business Machines. His career started at IBM in 1966 as a systems engineer, designing applications for hospitals and universities. In 1973, he switched professional gears by embarking on an extensive management and marketing-oriented career path for IBM. When he retired from IBM, as Director of the Greater Chicago Consulting Services Business, he managed more than 200 people and generated $200 million in revenue. He served as the President of the Joel Hall Dance Company. He serves as Chairman of Blackwell Consulting Services, Inc. He served as Chairman of the Neighborhood Writing Alliance and the Chairman of ETA Creative Arts Foundation. He serves as a Director of Blackwell Consulting Services, Inc. He serves as a member of board of trustees of the Museum of Science and Industry, and Illinois Institute of Technology and Lakeside Bank. He is a Member of the Mayor's Council of Technology Advisors, the Executives' Club of Chicago, the Economic Club of Chicago and the Metropolitan Club of Chicago. His passion and dedication of the arts has fueled his support of the Arts and Business Council (ABC). Mr. Blackwell holds a Bachelor's degree in psychology from Wichita State University.
