Mr. James T. Lynn, Jim serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at Talisma Corporation. Mr. Lynn served as a Senior Vice President and the Chief Technology Officer of Campus Management Corporation since August 2009 and directs its technology strategy and manages its global software development organization. Mr. Lynn has more than twenty years experience in systems engineering and software development, as well as leading large product development organizations ... including development centers located off-shore, quality initiatives, and enterprise platform architecture and migration. Mr. Lynn served as a Vice President and the Chief Technology Officer of Plato Learning, Inc. from May 5, 2005 to July 10, 2009. Mr. Lynn oversaw Plato's learning management and curriculum software development portfolio for K-12 and postsecondary education. At PLATO, he executed strategies that unified many disparate product platforms, enabling it to introduce a full range of enterprise-class Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) offerings. Mr. Lynn served as the Chief Executive Officer of Aetna Life & Casualty Co. He served as a Senior Staff Systems Engineer at Lockheed Martin, where he managed advanced technology research programs and initiatives and focused on simulations of advanced technologies. He served as a Senior Engineer at Honeywell, where he produced two patented, security-related devices. From 2001 to 2003, he served as the Vice President of Technology at Pearson Digital Learning, where he oversaw the development of application software for the K–12 education market and was the driving force behind improved product quality. He was responsible for strategy and leadership of initiatives for a global development environment, including offshore capabilities. He has held senior engineering positions with ID Certify, Motorola, and Group Technologies Corp. (formerly, Honeywell DCPD). Later, at Motorola, he served as a Director of Engineering, creating systems and devices for government and military applications in the areas of communication. He serves as an Honorary Trustee at The Brookings Institution. He taught part-time at a community college. While at Motorola, Mr. Lynn was a Co-Inventor of two patents for vector dimension reduction using neural networks and autonomous network agents. Mr. Lynn is a graduate of the University of South Florida—Tampa where he earned a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering.
