Mr. David Linley Founded LINLEY (also known as David Linley Furniture Ltd.), in 1985. Mr. Linley serves as the Chairman of David Linley & Company Limited. He has been Chairman of UK at Christie's Inc., since December 2007. He trained at Parnham House, The School for Craftsmen in Wood. Over the years, LINLEY has built up both a national and international presence with a quarter of its customer base from overseas. He has written three books and lectured around the world ... at prestigious venues. These include the V&A Museum, the Metropolitan Museum of Art (New York), the Smithsonian Institute (Washington), the Museum of Fine Arts (Boston), the Art Institute (Chicago), the LA County Museum of Art, the Cooper Hewitt Museum (New York) and the Dallas Museum of Art. From 1980 to 1982, Mr. Linley studied at Parnham House School for Craftsmen in Wood under the direction of John Makepeace.
