He joined Wunderman in August 2000 and served as its President and Chief Executive Officer of its flagship New York office until March 2003. Under his leadership, he not only was integral to building and strengthening key accounts, including Microsoft, IBM and Citibank, he infused his 500-person team with a spirit of innovation that is the very fabric of Wunderman's heritage. Mr. Sable served as Executive Vice president, Director for Account management of Young & Rubicam New York. From 1990 to 1994, he directed the agency's United States Postal Service account and global portions of Colgate-Palmolive and Bausch & Lomb accounts, among others. From 1985 to 1990, he served at Burson-Marsteller and Cohn & Wolfe, both public relations firms within the Y&R family. There, he worked with prominent consumer goods companies, high-tech firms and major manufacturing companies including: Hewlett-Packard, Digital Equipment Corporation, IBM/Prodigy, Tennessee Valley Authority, Coca-Cola, MasterCard and Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company. His areas of expertise included corporate, financial and crisis communications, as well as promotions and publicity. As an entrepreneur, he was a Founding Partner and served as Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Genesis Direct, Inc. since June 1995. Mr. Sable serves as Vice Chairman of Wunderman, Inc. He serves as a Director of American Association Of Advertising Agencies Inc. He serves as a Nominee Director of American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. He has been a Director of Genesis Direct, Inc. since June 1995. He served as a director of PaperDirect from 1989 to 1993. He serves as Member of the Industry Advisory Board of Carmel Ventures. He is a member of the U.S. Postal Service Marketing Advisory Board. He was appointed by the Mayor of the City of New York, Michael R.
