Dr. Cassel received her medical degree from the University of Massachusetts and completed her residency in internal medicine at Children's Hospital and the University of San Francisco, with subsequent fellowships in bioethics and geriatrics in San Francisco and Portland. She holds Bachelor's Degree from The University of Chicago.
