He served as Senior Vice President of Strategy and Investor Relations for Aetna Inc. From 1979 to 1994, Mr. Khalifa held a succession of senior financial management and operating positions at PepsiCo Inc., including as the Chief Financial Officer. He served as Chairman of Chemaphor Inc. from October 2010 to April 2011 and previously as its Co-Chairman from June 2010 to October 2010. Mr. Khalifa has been a Director of DRM Ventures Inc. since August 2009 and Chemaphor Inc. since June 2010. Mr. Khalifa served as a Director of PetSmart Inc., since March 16, 2005 until June 14, 2013. He is a Member of University of California at Irvine Corporate Partners Advisory Council and a Member of the Board of Directors of Project Tomorrow. Mr. Khalifa graduated from Lehigh University with both Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering with a minor in Economics and a Master of Business Administration in Finance.
