Mr. Tennenbaum served on the Board of Directors of Arden Group Inc., Alabama Aircraft Industries, Inc., Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc., Jenny Craig Inc., Sun Gro Horticulture Inc., and Tosco Corporation. He serves as a Director of KCET. He served as the Chairman of the California High-Speed Rail Authority. Mr. Tennenbaum serves as a Vice Chairman and Member of Board of Governors of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Mr. Tennenbaum is a member of the Secretary of the Navy Advisory Panel. He serves as a Director of the Los Angeles World Affairs Council and its Treasurer. He is a Member of the UCLA School of Medicine Board of Visitors and a Member of the Los Angeles Philharmonic Board of Overseers. In addition, he served as a Member of the National Advisory Board of Georgia Tech and as a Trustee of the Georgia Institute of Technology Foundation, Inc. and is Trustee Emeritus. Mr. Tennenbaum is a Founder of the Tennenbaum Institute for Enterprise Transformation at the Georgia Tech School of Industrial and Systems Engineering. He is also a member of the UCLA School of Medicine Board of Visitors, Founder of the Tennenbaum Interdisciplinary Center at the Neuropsychiatric Institute at UCLA, and of the Michael E. Tennenbaum Family Endowed Chair in Creativity Research. He was a Member of the Harvard Business School Board of Associates and Commissioner on the Intercity High-Speed Rail Commission for California and was Chairman of the California High-Speed Rail Authority. Mr. Tennenbaum served as the member of the Board of Associates of Harvard Business School. He is a member of the Academy of Distinguished Engineering Alumni of Georgia Tech's College of Engineering and Founder of the Tennenbaum Institute for Enterprise Transformation at the Georgia Tech School of Industrial and Systems Engineering. He received the Department of Defense Distinguished Civilian Service Award Mr. Tennenbaum received an M.B.A., with honors, from Harvard Business School and a B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
