Background

Dr. Janet Lind served as Vice President of Product Development at InnerWireless, Inc. since August 2006. Dr. Lind was responsible for the design, development and delivery of compelling products and solutions that address the needs of mobile enterprises. With more than 30 years of wireless, technology and education industry experience, Dr. Lind led InnerWireless’ product development teams and focused on managing modular designs for integrated wireless devices that address ... different communications infrastructures worldwide. Dr. Lind was instrumental as a Consultant during the development of Spot, InnerWireless’ radio frequency location application. Prior to joining InnerWireless, Dr. Lind held various C-level and executive roles with Nortel Networks and Siemens, working to create and deliver mobile wireless products for voice and data services, including location application development and other software for wireless systems. She served as Chief Technology Officer of Cyneta Networks, Inc. As Vice President of Engineering at Cyneta Networks, Dr. Lind assembled and managed internal teams and was responsible for hardware integration and software development initiatives both locally and overseas. She served as Chairman of the Board of Cyneta Networks Inc. She serves as Member of Board of Advisors at Tango Networks, Inc. Dr. Lind served as the Assistant Dean for the University of Texas at Dallas' Jonsson School of Engineering and Computer Science. Dr. Lind holds a doctorate in computer science from Tulane University, a Master of Science degree in computer science from the University of Arizona, and a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from Louisiana State University.
