Background

Spencer T. King has been Chief Executive Officer and President of International Executive Service Corps since October 2003. Mr. King served as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Business Development at International Executive Service Corps since January 2003. Mr. King joined IESC in 1992, as export promotion executive for IESC's program in Jordan and served as General Manager of the program and remained with it until it closed. In 1994, he rejoined IESC as the general ... manger of Technology Initiative for the Private Sector (TIPS) program in Sri Lanka. He served three terms as president of the American Chamber of Commerce in Sri Lanka and was a volunteer director for both it and the Fulbright Commission. He served as head of the TIPS program for 5 years, he transferred to Egypt in 1999 as Chief of Party and added the duties of regional program director for Asia/Near East in late 1999. He served as Vice President for Asia and the Near East since 2001 and Chief of Party for the Center for Business Support (CBS) in Cairo, Egypt. Mr. King owned and operated international trading companies with offices in Central America, California and Massachusetts. He serves as Director of International Executive Service Corps. He is the Author of Articles on trade, investment, competitiveness and intellectual property rights. He earned a law degree at Tulane University and worked in private practice and on behalf of the State of New Mexico's Consumer Fraud and Securities Commissions. .
