Mr. Michael DiFranza, Mike co-founded Captivate Network, Inc., in 1997 and serves as its President, General Manager and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. DiFranza had P&L responsibility for Mentor Graphics Corporation. He held engineering management positions at Metheus Corporation and GCA Corporation. He pioneered his vision into reality with the creation of Captivate Network. He has more than 15 years of media, marketing, and sales experience. In 2004, he led Captivate ... in the successful acquisition by Gannett, Co. Inc. Mr. DiFranza served as the Director of the Eastern U.S., Canadian, and Latin American Business Units for Mentor Graphics. In that role, he supported the development of underlying technology for the media and telecommunications industries. He held various management positions with Metheus Corporation and GCA Corporation. He serves as Chairman of Digital Place-Based Advertising Association. He serves as a Director and Member of the Advisory Board at Thinking Screen Media, Inc. He serves as a Director of Captivate Network, Inc. Mr. DiFranza serves as a Director and Member of Advisory Board at FrameMedia, Inc. He was a finalist for the 2001 and 2002 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Boston Business Forward also named him to its "Forward 40" in 2001. He has appeared on CNN, CBS Marketwatch and MSNBC's The News with Brian Williams. Mr. DiFranza holds a BS in Engineering and Computer Science from Northeastern University and is a graduate of the Harvard Business Schools' Program for Management Development.
