Dr. Fahad Abdullah Al-Mubarak, Ph.D. is a Founding Partner and Board Member at Amwal Al Khaleej. He is also an Executive Partner at Malaz Group. Dr. Al-Mubarak has also co-founded Malaz Group. He was a member of the negotiating team with the international oil companies towards the partial privatization of the national gas industry in Saudi Arabia. From 1992 to 1999, Dr. Al-Mubarak served as a General Manager at Rana Investment Company and had launched and managed several private equity and alternative funds, while achieving the target returns in almost all these initiatives. During his incumbency, Dr. Al-Mubarak steered Rana Company from a local company to an internationally reputed investment company within a short span of time. He has also worked extensively on various regional projects in the Middle East. Dr. Al-Mubarak is a Member of the Board of Directors of Mobily, Malaz Group, Carrefour (Saudi Hypermarkets), Saudi Hollandi Bank, Saudi Hypermarkets, and National Industrialization Company among others. He is also an Advisor to the Ministry of Post, Telegraph & Telephone. He is also Chairman of Morgan Stanley, Saudi Arabia. Dr. Al-Mubarak was appointed as a Member of the Saudi Arabian team that negotiated with international oil and gas companies seeking concessions to invest in Saudi Arabia. Dr. Al-Mubarak had also served for eight years on Shoura Council. He is also a member of numerous national and regional economic and charitable committees. Dr. Al-Mubarak has done a Ph.D. in Business Administration and an M.B.A. in Engineering Management and Accountancy and Taxation.
