Dr. Jesse I. Treu, Ph.D. serves as a Partner of Domain Associates, L.L.C. Dr. Treu has been a Partner at Domain since its inception in 1985. He has 12 years of health care experience at General Electric and Technicon Corporation in a number of research, marketing management, and corporate staff positions. From 1977 to 1982, he led new product development and marketing planning for immunoassay and histopathology products at Technicon Corporation. Dr. Treu served as Vice President of the predecessor organization to The Wilkerson Group and CW Ventures. While at CW Ventures, he served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Microsonics. Dr. Treu began his career with GE in 1973, initially as a Research Scientist developing thin film optical sensors for immunoassay testing, and subsequently serving on the corporate staff with responsibility for technology assessment and strategic planning. Prior to that, he held executive positions at Technicon Instruments Corporation, and at GE. Dr. Treu has been a Director of over 30 early-stage healthcare companies, 18 of which have so far become successful public companies. His serves as a Director of Afferent Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Veracyte, Inc., CoLucid Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Altea Therapeutics, Aesthetic Sciences and Tandem Diabetes Care. Dr. Treu is the Chairman of the Board at Regado Biosciences, Inc. since August 15, 2005. He has been a Director at Simione Central Holdings Inc. and SenoRx. Dr. Treu served as a Director of Inspire Pharmaceuticals Inc. from March 1995 to September 10, 2003 and Member of Compensation Committee and Chairman of Audit Committee.
