He is also the winner of the Horatio Alger Award and the Congressional Medal of Honor “Patriot Award“. In November 2004, Mr. Staubach was honored as the 2004 Texas Legend by the Galleria Chamber of Commerce and the 2004 Spirit of Generations Award by The Senior Source of Dallas. He is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering in 1965.
