Background

Richard E. Salomon serves as President of Mecox Ventures, a private investment company. Mr. Salomon served as President and Managing Director of the investment advisory firm, Spears, Benzak, Salomon & Farrell from 1982 to 2000. He represented Rockefeller interests on the Executive Committee of Embarcadero Center from 1977 to 1998. In addition, he is Chairman of the Advisory Board of Blackstone Alternative Asset Management and a member of the Advisory Board of the Geoeconomic ... Center at The Council on Foreign Relations. Mr. Salomon serves as Senior Advisor to Mr. David Rockefeller. He has been a Director of Boston Properties Inc., the general partner of Boston Properties LTD Partnership, since November 12, 1998 and is the Chairman of the Compensation Committee. He serves as a Director of Cousins Properties, Inc. and Strategic Hotel Capital. He has been a Trustee of RCPI Trust since July, 1996. He is a Trustee of the Museum of Modern Art, The New York Public Library, Rockefeller University and the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation. Sloan Foundation. He received a BA from Yale University in 1964 and an MBA from Columbia University Graduate School of Business in 1967.
