She has been a Director of Local Initiatives Support Corporation since October 16, 2012. She serves as a Director of National Council Of La Raza, Inc. She received a Certificate of Commendation from the City Council of Camden, NJ and a Certificate of Appreciation from the Camden County Office of Hispanic Affairs & Community Development. Ms. Ruiz is involved in much trade organization where she is an Officer and active Board Member to assist in setting policy to help low income communities. She has a Masters in Business Administration from Eastern College, St. David's, Pennsylvania.
