He led the effort to commercialize NCSA Mosaic, which eventually became Internet Explorer, Microsoft's web browser. Mr. Krauskopf started his career with four years at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA) at the University of Illinois. He has been a Member of Advisory Board at BigTime Software, Inc., since September 1, 2011. Mr. Krauskopf serves as a Member of Advisory Board for KB Partners, LLC. He serves on the Board of Hyperfeed Technologies, Inc, the Illinois Technology Development Alliance, the Chicago Mayor's Council of Technology Advisors, the Board of the Aspen Institute, and the Board of the Illinois Coalition. Mr. Krauskopf was on the Northwestern University Board of Trustees and was an inaugural fellow in the Henry Crown Fellowship Program at the Aspen Institute. In 1996, KPMG Peat Marwick named him as one of the winners of the Illinois High Tech Entrepreneur of the Year award. Mr. Krauskopf holds a M.M., an M.B.A. equivalent, degree from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois, and a B.A. in Integrated Science from Northwestern University.
