Dr. Robert J. Margolis, M.D. has been the Chief Executive Officer of HealthCare Partners, LLC (also known as HealthCare Partners, Ltd) and Healthcare Partners Medical Group since 1992. Dr. Margolis was also a Managing Partner of HealthCare Partners, LLC since 1992. He was a Founding Partner and the Managing Partner of HealthCare Partners' predecessor, California Primary Physicians Medical Group. Under his' stewardship, HealthCare Partners has become a highly respected ... and innovative physician-owned and operated medical group, IPA and MSO. He has been on the leading edge of the managed care industry for more than 20 years. He serves as the Chairman of the Board of California Association of Physician Groups (CAPG). He serves as the Co-Chairman of the Board of DaVita HealthCare Partners Inc. He serves as the Chairman of the Board of HealthCare Partners, LLC. He serves as a Member of Advisory Board at Keenan & Associates Inc. He served as a Director of Professional BanCorp. Inc. since May 1999 and Director of First Professional Bank, N.A., (Bank) wholly-owned subsidiary of Professional BanCorp. Inc. He serves as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees for California Hospital Medical Center, Los Angeles. Dr. Margolis is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology, and is a Member of the American College of Physicians and the American Society of Clinical Oncology. He is a much sought-after spokesperson due to his vast experience in integrated delivery systems and physician practice management. He served a fellowship at the National Cancer Institute. Dr. Margolis is a graduate of Rutgers University and the Duke University Medical School.
