Mr. Patrick H. Arbor is a Principal of Shatkin, Arbor, Karlov & Co. He is a Director of MCF Corporation since February 2001. Mr. Arbor presently serves as a Director of First Chicago Bank & Trust Co. Mr. Arbor is also an independent futures trader. He is a longtime Member of the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT), serving as the organization’s Chairman between 1993 and 1999 for three consecutive terms. During that period, Mr. Arbor also served on the Board of Directors of ... the National Futures Association. He joined CBOT in 1965, serving as the Vice Chairman for three years and ten years as its Director. His other exchange memberships include the Chicago Board Options Exchange, the Mid-America Commodity Exchange, and the Chicago Stock Exchange. Mr. Arbor started his career as a math teacher and later served as a mayor of Harwood Heights, Illinois. He serves as a Trustee of Loyola University of Chicago. He has served on numerous Board positions include Chicago Mercy Home for Boys and Girls; the Mission of Our Lady of Mercy; Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago; and the Illinois Facilities Fund. His previous Board appointments include the United States Association for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees; the First State Bank & Trust Company of Park Ridge, Illinois; London Investment Trust (LIT), PLC; the United Financial Holdings, Inc; and the United Community Bank. Mr. Arbor has authored numerous articles on Finance in leading professional and academic journals. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Economics from Loyola University in 1958.
