Mr. Garen G. Bohlin has been an Executive Vice President of Constellation Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since January 2010. (alternately Biogen Idec Hemophilia Inc.) from 1998 to July 2005, where he positioned it for its sale to Biogen Idec. He joined Syntonix in 1998. He spent 14 years at Genetics Institute, LLC where he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since January 1990 and also served as it Principal Accounting Officer with responsibility for most of the non-scientific areas of Genetics that comprised approximately half of its then 1,600 employees. Mr. Bohlin joined Genetics Institute LLC (formerly Wyeth Biopharma) in December 1983 as Director of Finance & Treasurer and served as its Vice President of Finance and Senior Vice President of Finance & Administration. He served as an Executive at Wyeth. He played an integral role in structuring the sale of Genetics Institute, LLC to American Home Products (Wyeth) at an implied valuation of approximately $3 billion. He spent 13 years at Arthur Andersen & Co., where he was a Partner and oversaw all client activities for a broad range of Fortune 500 businesses, as well as smaller publicly and privately owned companies. He has also held various operating roles in the life sciences field. He played a leading role in structuring and implementing a strategic alliance with Wyeth. He serves as the Chairman of SpringLeaf Therapeutics, Inc. Mr. Bohlin has been an Independent Director of Acusphere Inc. since January 25, 2005 and Tetraphase Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since October 12, 2010. He has been a Director of Precision Dermatology, Inc. since December 10, 2012. He served as a Director of Praecis Pharmaceuticals Inc., since July 11, 2003.
