Mr. Uday Khemka is a Partner at SUN Capital Partners. Mr. Khemka is a Co-Founder of Vesta Group and serves as its Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director. He is a Co-Founder of e-start.com and Chief Executive Officer of SUN Technology Ltd. Mr. Khemka serves as the Vice Chairman of SUN Group. Mr. Khemka is actively involved with SUN’s corporate finance activities in relation to Russia since 1994. At SUN, his focus has been the establishment of investment management ... and principal investing initiatives for the group, some of which he was instrumental in establishing and leading. Mr. Khemka has over 17 years of investment banking and investment experience. Prior to SUN, he served at Credit Suisse First Boston in its Capital Markets Group focusing on India and Morgan Stanley in its mergers and acquisitions area with a focus on Europe. From 1990 to 1991, Mr. Khemka established and led Morgan Stanley’s corporate finance activities in India. He was also responsible for establishing an asset management joint venture between SUN and Foreign and Colonial Emerging Markets, Ltd. Since 1996, Mr. Khemka has led SUN’s investment management activities and the creation of focused fund franchises in the Sun Interbrew Plc's core markets. This has included making principal investments into a variety of early- and mid-stage companies as well as helping establish funds such SUN Capital Partners and WestBridge Capital Partners. He served on the Board of a wide variety of Luxembourg-listed investment funds investing in emerging markets around the world as well as serving on the Board of SUN Group flagship companies in India. He serves as Director of Sun Interbrew Plc and Vesta Group. Mr. Khemka serves as a Director of most of the SUN companies. He served as Director of Vesta Capital Partners. He served as Director of OAO SUN InBev. He has been on several of SUN’s Investment Committees since 1991. Mr. Khemka serves on the Board of Governors of the Indian School Of Business (ISB) in Hyderabad and has been elected a Young Global Leader at the World Economic Forum in Davos. Mr. Khemka was a Baker scholar at Harvard Business School. He received an undergraduate degree from the Cambridge University and an M.B.A. with high distinction at the Harvard Business School.
