Mr. Craig E. Philip has been Chief Executive Officer of Ingram Barge Company since 1999 and served as its President since 1994. Mr. Philip has spent 25 years in various professional and senior management capacities in the marine, rail and intermodal industries, and has held adjunct faculty positions at Princeton and Vanderbilt. From 1980 to 1987, he served at ingram barge company, nashville, tn. Mr. Philip rejoined Ingram Barge Company in 1991 from Southern Pacific Railroad, ... where he served as Vice President, their Intermodal Division. He has been a Director of Arkansas Best Corporation since August 2011. Mr. Philip is actively involved in industry and professional organizations and, in particular, he has served as chairman of both the American Waterway Operators and the National Waterways Conference. He was recently appointed to the National Academy of Science's Marine Board. Mr. Philip has his Master's and Ph.D. degrees in Engineering from M.I.T. Cambridge and an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from Princeton.
