Previous to that, Dr. Tyson was Dean of London Business School from January 2002 to December 2006 and Dean of Haas School of Business from 1998 to 2001. She served as a member of President Obama’s Economic Recovery Advisory Board from 2009 to 2011 and was the Chair of the Council of Economic Advisers from 1993 to 1995. Dr. Tyson holds a Ph.D. Degree in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1974 and a BA Degree in Economics from Smith College in 1969.
