Background

Mr. Yoav Z. Chelouche, MBA is a Managing Partner and Partner at Aviv Venture Capital. He has 20 years of experience in management, initiation, and investments in the global high-tech arena. From November 1995 to mid-2001, he served as the President and the Chief Executive Officer at Scitex corp. and Scailex Corp., Ltd. During his tenure as Chief Executive Officer, he led the turnaround of the company’s pre-press activities ($450 million) back to growth and profitability, ... managed the acquisition, strategy, and growth of the Digital Printing business from zero to$250 million revenues. Prior to that, over a period of 15 years, he was employed in several management positions at Scitex including Vice President Strategy and Business Development, Vice President Marketing, and Vice President Finance–Europe. Among his achievements, he led strategy and implementation of acquisition program that ultimately generated 50 percent of corporate revenues; created international joint ventures including one in Japan being the first between Japanese and Israeli companies; and developed in-house technology incubation and in-house venture activities. In the past he was an investor at the founding stages of several technology start-up companies-Mercury, Radvision, Wizcom Technologies, Rosetta Genomics, and Human Eyes Technologies. Mr. Chelouche serves as the Chairman of Ta'asiyeda, Columbus and K2K Ltd. He has been the Non Executive Chairman and Non Executive Director of 3M Attenti Ltd. since June 10, 2004. He served as the Chairman of Rosetta Genomics, Ltd. from April 2006 to April 12, 2011 and HumanEyes Technologies Ltd. He serves as a Board Observer of Deep Breeze. He serves as a Director of OptimalTest Ltd., ScaleMP, Inc., Rosetta Green Ltd., HumanEyes Technologies Ltd., MultiGene Vascular Systems (MGVS) Ltd., DeepBreeze, Fricso, Briefcalm and Jettable Ltd. He has been a Non Executive Director of Dmatek Ltd. since June 10, 2004. He has been a Director at Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. since 2006. Mr. Chelouche served as a Member of the Board of Directors of VocalTec Communications Ltd. since July 2000. He served as a Director of Creo Inc. He served as a Director of Rosetta Genomics, Ltd. since 2003 and BeInSync Ltd. He was a Member of the Board of Directors of Actona Technologies, Inc. (Actona Inc.) until August 2004. Mr. Chelouche holds an M.B.A. degree from INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France in 1979 (Winner of Henry Ford Prize for first in class) and a B.A. degree in Economics and Statistics from Tel Aviv University, Israel.
