Dr. William F. Pickard, Ph.D. has been Chief Executive Officer of Regal Plastics Company (manufacturer of plastic parts for automotive and other industries) and as Owner/operator, multiple McDonald's restaurant franchises, since 1985. Dr. Pickard also serves as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of a number of enterprises including VITEC LLC, Global Automotive Alliance LLC, GrupoAntolin-Wayne, ARD Logistics, LLC, and Commonwealth Regal Industries. He is ... also an Adjunct Professor at the University of Michigan Business School. Dr. Pickard has 30 years' experience as an entrepreneur, focusing on business development, team building and long-term strategic planning in his various enterprises, which include an assembly company, an automotive interior trim supplier and an inventory management and logistics company. He is a business and civic leader in the Detroit metropolitan area with extensive experience as both a corporate executive and expert on public policy. He serves as Chairman of Regal Plastics Company. From 1983 to 1987, Dr. Pickard was also Chairman of the Board of Directors of the African Development Foundation. He serves as a Trustee of Community Foundation for Southeastern Michigan. He serves as a Director of WTVS (the Detroit educational television station), National Association of Black Automotive Suppliers, Detroit Economic Development Corporation, Michigan Cancer Foundation and Detroit Science Center. He served as a Director of Malan Realty Investors Inc., since 1994. He served as an Independent Director of Flagstar BanCorp. Inc. and its subsidiary, Flagstar Bank, FSB from February 2008 to May 26, 2009. He served as a Director of Michigan National Corp. since 1989 and for its subsidiary Michigan National Bank. Dr. Pickard is also a member of the U.S. Advisory Committee for Trade Policy and Negotiations and the Executive Board of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. Dr. Pickard earned his Ph.D. from the Ohio State University. He completed his Masters degree at the University of Michigan and earned his Bachelors Degree at Western Michigan University.
