Background

Andrew Wartell served as the Vice President of global security and director of special projects at Goldman Sachs, where Mr. Wartell oversaw the physical and technical security designs of numerous facilities including the new $2.1 billion headquarters building in New York City. He was the liaison to the World Trade Center Master Security Plan design committee and Goldman representative to the New York Police Department Lower Manhattan Security Initiative. He led efforts ... in selecting and testing curtain walls for blast resistance and is currently the private industry representative to the DOD/TSWG/Blast Effects Working Group. Mr. Wartell retired from the Central Intelligence Agency in 2002, where in his final assignment as associate director, DCI Center for Security Evaluation, he managed the DCI's physical, technical and counterintelligence security oversight of diplomatic construction, worldwide, including the US embassies in Moscow and Beijing. He has more than 35 years in the intelligence and security communities. He has been Director at VidSys, Inc. since September 2009.
