Mr. Gerard M. Moufflet is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer at Acceleration International since January 2002. He previously also served as its President. He was in charge of various Baxter International European operations and spent 17 years in marketing, financial, and general management positions with the company's European businesses. Mr. Moufflet is a Non-Executive Director of Amphion Innovations plc, since May 1, 2009. He served as a Director of American Dental Partners, Inc. and Spinelab. He was a Director of Serologicals Corp. since April 2001. Mr. Moufflet also served as a Director of Transcend Therapeutics, Inc. since April 1994 and on the Boards of Critical Care Systems and Brontes. He is also involved with non-profit organizations. Mr. Moufflet is the Chairman of the French Cultural Center. He was the Chairman of Board of Fellows of the Harvard Dental School of Medicine from 2001 to December, 2010 and since 2011 is a member of the HSDM Advisory Board. The President of France honored him as a “Chevalier de l’Ordre Du Merite National”. He holds an M.B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh in 1969, where Mr. Moufflet was a Pittsburgh Plate Class Foundation Scholar. He received a Graduate degree from EDHEC Business School (École des Hautes Etudes Commerciales) in France and is also a graduated from the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School in 1987.
