Dr. Ehud Geller, Ph.D. is the Founder and Managing Partner of Medica Venture Partners. Dr. Geller is also the Founder and Managing Partner at Poalim Medica III and Medica II. Dr. Geller co-founded Medica in 1995. He has over 30 years of senior executive operational experience in healthcare companies, both in the United States and Israel. Throughout his career, he has been actively involved in numerous public initiatives to enhance entrepreneurship, management, and innovation ... in healthcare and other technology industries in Israel. From 1985 to 1990, Dr. Geller served as the President and Chief Executive Officer at Interpharm Laboratories, Ltd., where he was instrumental in bringing this publicly traded company to a market capitalization of over $380 million and presided over the growth of this company from the seed stage to $18 million in revenues. From 1979 to 1985, Dr. Geller served as the President of the Pharmaceutical Division at Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Limited and also an Executive Vice President. At Teva, he led the acquisition of Ikapharm Ltd. and formulated the company’s successful strategy for entry into the United States market. Dr. Geller began his industry career at Wyeth Laboratories Inc. in the United States where he spent seven years with responsibilities ranging from pharmaceutical research through pilot plant operations and corporate new product introduction management. He founded Collgard Biopharmaceuticals Ltd. in 1996 and serves as its Chairman. He serves as Chairman of Gardia Medical Ltd. Dr. Geller serves as a Director of Allium-Medical Solutions Ltd. He serves as a Director of InterCure, Ltd., OREX Computed Radiography Ltd., Regentis Biomaterials Ltd., Gardia Medical Ltd., PainReform Ltd., Sol-Gel technologies Ltd. Dr. Geller served as a Director of XTL Biopharmaceuticals Ltd. Dr. Geller served as Director of GlobeImmune Inc. since September 14, 2005. He also served as the Head of the Israeli Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association and as a Board Member of the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange. Dr. Geller has a Ph.D. degree in Pharmaceutical and Chemical Engineering from Drexel Institute, Philadephia. He also holds a B.Sc. degree in Chemical Engineering and an M.B.A. degree from Columbia University/ Drexel Institute.
